Welcome to Al-Hikmah Academy, Manchester's premier Arabic language school founded in 2015 by our Headteacher Mrs Noor El-Mashay. We operate every Sunday, providing Arabic language education for children aged 3.5 years and upwards.
At Al-Hikmah Academy, we provide a comprehensive Arabic language education for children by combining high academic standards with an outstanding personal development and extra-curricular programme. We offer a progressive education while maintaining Islamic values and traditions within our welcoming environment.
Through our Arabic language programmes and Islamic studies, we aim to develop confident learners who are equipped with key life-skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. We provide a holistic education that combines academic excellence with Islamic values and Arabic language proficiency.
Al-Hikmah Academy is a friendly and nurturing environment where each child feels valued and important. We believe in identifying each child's talents in Arabic language, Islamic studies, drama, and creative arts, and enable them to flourish in their particular areas of interest. Our comprehensive curriculum includes Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Drama, History, and Quran studies, ensuring every child receives a well-rounded education.

We believe in the necessity and importance of communication between the school administration and parents. Al-Hikmah Academy often seeks to organize various activities and programs during the school year.
Parents meet Al-Hikmah Academy staff to get to know one another and discuss various topics related to the educational process.
We aim to elaborate everything about the educational process in Al-Hikmah Academy and provide an overview of the methods and means used.
A day dedicated, for parents and pupils, to learning about different customs and traditions.
Families are brought together at the school, in addition to organizing various activities.
Parents meet teachers to talk about the educational performance and achievement of their children.
Consisting of different activities and various events to promote reading and literacy.
Through this program, we aim to make pupils feel a sense of belonging to their mother tongue.
Our after school clubs provide children with a great way to finish the school day with arts, crafts, games, reading, calligraphy, sport and drama.
Morning homework support from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM to help students complete their homework when parents are busy or need additional support.
Enhanced curriculum support through online sessions including Quran courses, GCSE preparation, and specialized courses for non-Arabic speakers to support students in their learning journey.
Students develop strong Arabic language skills and Islamic knowledge, achieving high levels of proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic.
